Conflict:
A tropical cyclone destroyed thousands of homes and with it more than 300 people and with this ask for an international help. This could be a democratic problem that whom already say the government has ruined the economy. Now if the numbers are accurate (the cyclone killed 15,000 people and another 30,000 are missing) the death toll could be highest from the tsunami of December, 2004. And in some regions (delta) the death toll could reach the 10,000.
what: A cyclone that destroyed many homes in this place, and people that have to leave the place to other parts.
where: In places like delta regions that is in very bad conditions.
when: the past 5 of May.
why: Because a bad organization didntd with a thing like this.
who: a terrible cyclone
background :
a) Myanmar was more occuped on things like the elections
b) Was destracted and never imagine a cyclone like this could happen breaking the economy so hard.
c) American sanctions were putting pressure in Myanmar in that moment.
d) was in the middle of a goverment crackdown.
solution:
1. Firts every country that is at the surroundings of Myanmar must help with food and water.
2. The democratic part of Myanmar must be more helpful to the country intead of being thinking on the elections.
3. Myanmar must be prepared for s like this and care about her people.

Myanmar announced a timetable for the elections that are going to be the first ones since 1990. In the junta a top member mentioned that the peace and stability has been restored in the city and the democratic elections is going to be in 2010.

The canal and inlets are the most affected part by the cyclone that could make difficulties for helicopters for giving food, clean water and other supplies but many villages are accessible only by boat that make the work much harder. Many rural people could be very affected that could affect severely the country.

Yesterday, some lands were in very bad conditions and could pass by boat or helicopter but now bad roads and without telecommunication the distributing of food is very difficult and it is possible that it couldn’t reach the people stranded.

The last weekend cyclone made many people take the decision to go away in a dangerous journey in rickety wooden boats with makeshifts sails, from horror to misery for most start a journey of days waiting for aid to arrive, mostly because of losing homes and family.

A powerful, a very big city is still in crisis past five days, even without energy or electricity, this because many tree fell and really seems far that the country come back to the normal.
